The company was founded in December 1993 by a pool of entrepreneurs coming from the historic ports of south Italy (Calabria) where, for decades, they owned their individual companies focused on such activities. Abandoning the old atavistic individualism and competition, they combined their experience to create a company able to satisfy the market needs of maritime traffic in anticipation of the birth and development of the container terminal at Gioia Tauro.
